Design Workshop 2006 took place in ESA/ESTEC Noordwijk, The Netherlands from 16th July to 5th August 2006.The event, hosted by ESA and organized together with EUROAVIA(DeWo WG ), was attended by 25 international participants and a number of specialists from the industry of space and aeronautics. DeWo 2006 was EUROAVIA's 10th event of this kind, which gathered for 3 weeks more than 15 different European nationalities to work together on a very challenging ESA project : design of an unmanned aerial vehicle for exploration of Mars.
EUROAVIA

EUROAVIA is the European Association of Aerospace Students, founded in 1959 and present in 30 cities in 17 European countries, with a total of about 1500 members. It aims to:
- Stimulate contacts between university students and the aerospace industry
- Offer opportunities of acquaintance and exchange among students from different countries, thereby actively pursuing European integration
- Represent European aerospace students at an international level
EUROPEAN SPACE AGENCY
The European Space Agency is Europe's gateway to space. Its mission is to shape the development of Europe's space capability and ensure that investment in space continues to deliver benefits to the citizens of Europe.
ESA has 17 Member States. By coordinating the financial and intellectual resources of its members, it can undertake programmes and activities far beyond the scope of any single European country.
